YES, you heard that right! Completely free listings; no listing fee, no commission. We’ll be bringing you Unmanaged Listings for free. You’ll still be able to post Managed Listings, at our still low 10%, or, you can create an Unmanaged Listing for FREE.

What’s the difference?

An Unmanaged Listing means, you post the listing, you add the images, and you collect funds direct from the buyer. PigeonsBid.com only acts to run the auction and give you the email address of the winning bidder.

Managed Listings are just that; we collect for you, acting as an escrow intermediary, sending you a check when the dust settles., just as you’ve always done with PigeonsBid.com.

Managed fundraisers will be a flat 10% as usual. Unmanaged Fundraisers will be FREE!

We have obtained a select set of Sal Ortiz kit birds. These were all flown and tested last year by Kenny Henderson.

Starting in April, we’ll be featuring pairs of Bob Brown pigeons, kept pure from the last imports via George Mason.

Brian Goodwin of Hobbs NM has bred from and flown these awesome birds. He has kept them pure as the driven snow, with NO cross-breeding.

We plan to take all the goodness of PigeonsBid and it’s technology into an interface that is usable, navigable, and intuitive, all in your mobile phone’s form factor.

You’ll be able to see the status of your bids, and place bids, all from the comfort of your phone in just a few clicks.

Mobile development has come a long way in the last few years to bring you a native looking interface across the most popular mobile devices, including iPhone, Android, iPad and more! Let us know if there is a feature missing that you want to see added.

It’s been a long time coming, but I wanted to let all of you know that we are about to release a new Mobile version of PigeonDB.com and RollerDB.com.

This version will include enhancements to the user interface so that you can effortlessly find and modify your birds, teams, pairs, and messages through your phone….all in a native look and feel.

We are very excited about this release and will have lots more to show and say in the coming days!!!

No doubt you may have seen a competing site lately that has touted an 8% commission. Don’t let that number fool you.

The model that site uses is one where you do ALL of the work. You collect the winning money and then send in a check for 8%.

We charge 10%, but that is actually LOWER than the aforementioned site’s commission. The reason is, if you use Paypal, or a credit card processor to collect the money owed to you, you actually have to pay up to 3% to the payment processor. That is, if you sell an item on the competitors site, for say, $100.00, and you collect your money from the winner with Paypal or a credit card processor, you will only get $97.00 from that amount. In addition, you have to send $8.00 to the host of the auction. So in total, you’ll have to pay $11. Oh, and did I mention that you have to do ALL of the work?

At PigeonsBid.com, you will only pay $10. There are breaks for fundraisers. And, in addition to this, we do ALL of the work and in the end send you a neat check stating everything you sold and breaking it down for you.

We ARE a professional site, not a hobby, unlike our competitor.
